James Brown
About James Brown
James was entrenched in the industry from a young age as he watched his father successfully start and manage a property business in 1975. He began working in the industry as a Cadet Valuer in 1990, one week prior to his 17th birthday. From 1991-1995, James was a commercial leasing agent, taking responsibility for leasing numerous CBD and fringe projects on behalf of institutions, developers and private investors. This led to International stints in Singapore, Vietnam (Manager of Ho Chin Minh City) and Hong Kong where he marketed new commercial and residential projects. In addition to this, he consulted global clients such as Telstra, Coca Cola and Castrol before returning to Australia in the early 2000s.
Since then, James has gained experience as a Project Leasing Coordinator for new, major CBD developments in Brisbane and as a Property Development Manager across South East Queensland.
This combined experience created a rock-solid foundation for James, enabling him to become manager of his father’s business headquarters in Caboolture, Queensland. In 2013, James became Principal/Licensee and the business changed to Ray White Caboolture. The success of the business led to a second agency opening in Burpengary in 2014. He has overseen the development and marketing of Land Estates including Hunter Valley Heights Morayfield (100 lot Acreage Subdivision), Coochin Estate Beerwah (100 lot Acreage Estate), Dakabin School Estate (77 lot residential subdivision) and Morayfield Landing (400 lot residential subdivision).
Outside of work, James enjoys raising a young family where Soccer, Swimming, Cricket and Netball create busy weekends. However, he has managed to squeeze in motorcycle tours of Vietnam, Tasmania, New Zealand and the Himalayas.
